What we paint

Interior, exterior, and the finishing details.

A basic commercial and residential paint contractor — with the high-end patience of someone who started on Chicago high-rises in 1984.

Interior painting

Walls, ceilings, trim, and the rooms you live in every day. Clean tape lines, even coats, and a house that feels finished.

Exterior painting

Siding, fascia, doors, and the curb-facing work that has to hold up to Illinois weather — not just look good on day one.

Decorating & finishes

Custom finishes and high-end paint work when a flat wall isn’t the whole story. Color, sheen, and detail, done quietly.

Commercial

Offices, common areas, and the jobs that need to be scheduled around people actually using the building.

Residential

Winfield, Glen Ellyn, and Wheaton houses are most of the year’s work — plus the rest of DuPage and the western suburbs.

Service area

Western suburbs. Chicago when the job calls.

Winfield, Glen Ellyn, and Wheaton account for most of the work, year round. The rest is DuPage County, the western suburbs, and the city — interiors and exteriors, homes and commercial spaces.

The shop

A family business with Chicago miles behind it.

Owner Bruce Swift has been painting since 1984.

The first twelve years were spent in the city — high-rises, condos, parking garages, interiors and exteriors. That work is what made a professional painter. Then came the suburbs as B. Swift Painting: Winfield, Glen Ellyn, Wheaton, and the western towns that still make up most of the calendar.

Family owned. Quality workmanship. Care to detail. The reputation is from showing up and leaving the job looking like it was supposed to look — not from a flashy website. This page is here so neighbors can actually find you.

The finish

Rooms, exteriors, and the quiet details.

Placeholder photographs until Bruce’s own job photos go in. The work itself is residential and commercial paint — not a staging catalog.

Reviews

Four stars on Google. Neighbors who stayed.

4.0 from 8 Google reviews. We are not inventing a wall of five-star quotes. If the work was good, a new review helps the next DuPage homeowner find the crew.

“I’ve been with Bruce for 20 years until I moved out of state. The most honest hard-working man and boss I know. Reliable and reasonable. A master at his profession. I highly recommend B. Swift for any job.”
